The Wonder Years

I did this for a challenge on Lotus Paperie, where we had to do a scraplift of this really cool poster for the movie "The Cool Ones":

I've always wanted to do a layout with photos arranged thus so, so of course I could not resist playing along with this challenge. The photos are of my older daughter during her "younger" years, hence, "The Wonder Years"!

Materials used:
Patterned Paper - Making Memories {note}worthy Audrey Polka Dot Stripe
Flowers - Prima, Heidi Swapp
Brad - Creative Imagination
Crystal Swirls - Prima
Title Alphas - Making Memories
Others - Ranger Stickles, Tim Holtz Distress Ink, Ribbons, Pearls, Sticker Alphas

Wish

Here's a layout I did for a "Lift The DT Member!" scraplift challenge at Unpubbed. This LO is lifted from Chrissy's lovely "Crystal Clear" LO.

Materials used:
Patterned Paper - Fiskars' Kimberly Poloson "Old Fashioned Flowers / Florish Border" and "Old Fashioned Flowers / Butterfly Borders" (for the butterfly cutouts) Flocked Cardstock
Alphas - Li'l Davis Designs' Away We Go Chipboard Alphabet (Lakeside)
Others - Making Memories 5th Avenue Spiral Journaling Book page, Bazzill cardstock, ribbons, Ranger Stickles (applied to the butterflies)

Family Event

Here are two of my layouts - "The Music Of My Life" and "Us" - on display at the Made With Love exhibition area at local parenting magazine Today's Parents' Family Event, held on 12 and 13 July. There was an open call for layouts - which had to feature the theme of "Family" - to be uploaded to Made With Love's online gallery, after which these "works of heART" were selected for the display. Unfortunately, the photo isn't so clear due to the reflection from the plastic frames the layouts were placed in.

Us

My first layout since going back to work! I just realised I have never actually done a layout on "us" as a family - my layouts have thus far been on my daughters, me and my girls, or my DH, but never all of us together. So here it is - "Us"! This layout was inspired by a lovely sketch by Anna Bowkis for Pencil Lines.

Materials used:
Patterned Papers - Cosmo Cricket "Flora Bella", Cosmo Cricket "Strip Tease" (used for the journaling), MME Wild Asparagus "Mother"
Cardstock - Bazzill Bling
Flowers - Prima
Brads - Doodlebug Boutique Brads
Crystals - Prima
Alphas - Scrapworks Shimmer Shapes Carnival Alphabet - Red
Others - Ranger Stickles, Tim Holtz Distress Ink, Ribbons

Winner - Scrappin' With Grace S.E.I. Contest!

What a great way to start the month! I just found out I had won Scrappin' With Grace's S.E.I. Contest for June, whereby we had to use at least 50% of S.E.I. products in our projects. Well, this layout was done using patterned papers, flocked paper, cardstock, ribbons and a journaling card from S.E.I.'s Madera Island range, which I so love! So happy!
