Passions

I did this layout featuring some of the people and things I'm passionate about - my two DD who are my greatest inspirations for my layouts, photography, art and scrapbooking. I used 3D foam dots on a couple of the photos as well as the paper cut-out, for dimension, and added crystals and fabric to give the layout some different textures.

Materials used:
Patterned Paper - GCD Studios Cosette Collection - Floral Parade, Floral Garden, Jenni Bowlin Pink Label
Cardstock - Bazzill Basics
Crystal Swirls - Prima Say It In Crystals - Pink
Title Alphas - American Crafts Thickers - Jewelry Box Chipboard Letter Stickers in Black

Happy {2}

A proud moment for mummy! My younger daughter was among the top three in her Primary One class this year, and received a Merit Award for Academic Achievement from her school. This photo was taken at the Prize-Giving Ceremony held on 7 November, and is of her and her two other classmates - the top three of the class. Incidentally, my older DD performed with the school choir at the ceremony!

I used papers from K&Co's Amy Butler Lotus collection, and the butterfly and flower on the right is attached to a little journaling tag hidden behind the mounted photo.

More Updates - Wins!

More updates here - on the challenges I've won recently!

Vogue won the DT Lift on Unpubbed in October.

Little Korean Princess was Prima Marketing's October Build-A-Page winner. I'm ecstatic!

The Music Of My Life was Scrap Friendzy's Think Pink Contest Winner for October. This contest was part of their Breast Cancer Awareness events in October, and the winner was chosen through voting, so I was really honoured to have won this contest!

Cherish Life won the Manufacture of the Month - October - Making Memories Contest at Urban Anthology.

And here's a look at the layout:

And finally, Friends also won the Decorative Edge Challenge at Urban Anthology this month.

Updates

I've had my layouts selected as featured layouts in several sites over the past few months, so I've decided to do a quick update here.

Sisterly Love was featured on One Little Word's blog in September. I had entered it for their "Love" challenge.

My gallery on Creative Scrappers was chosen as one of their featured galleries in September's Today's Creative Gallery.

Happy, using Sassafras Lass papers, was chosen as a Fab Find on Coordinates Collections in October.

My Little Lady was chosen as Pick of the Day on Scrap Friendzy in October.

The Music Of My Life was also chosen as Pick of the Day on Scrap Friendzy in October, as well as October's Week 4 Winner from all the Picks for that month.

Alice In Disneyland

This photo was taken at Tokyo Disney, of my two DD attempting to pose with "Alice in Wonderland".

I used die-cut patterned paper from Creative Imaginations and stickled the white floral prints to give the layout some texture. The quote "Curiouser and curiouser" is one of my favourite lines from the book Alice In Wonderland.

Materials used:
Patterned Paper - Creative Imaginations Narratives by Karen Russell Die-Cut Paper, K&Co Amy Butler Lotus Collection
Cardstock - Bazzill Basics in Blackbird
Alphas - American Crafts Thickers - Lax Glitter Letter Stickers in Black, Provo Craft
