The Age Of Innocence

My younger DD on a field trip during her nursery year at Nanyang Kindergarten. I love this shot of her sitting with her classmate by the beach, waiting for the excursion bus to come fetch them back to school. And the title just somehow came to mind when I look at the photo!

I mixed papers from K & Co's Hopscotch range and Sassafras Lass' Life Is Beautiful - Vintage Yummy range, as I thought they were very appropriate for the title and theme of the layout.

I used 3D pop-up dots on some of the cut-outs for a little bit of dimension, and also applied stickles to the cut-outs, for some texture. I chose to use Antique Linen for the stickles to enhance the "vintagey" look of the layout.

There is hidden journaling behind the photo. The journal tag is attached with a piece of lace which can be used to pull the tag out. The tag is actually made from a S.E.I. sticker which I pasted onto a transparency and cut out.

Materials used:
Patterned Papers - K & Company Hopscotch Collection; and Sassafras Lass – Life Is Beautiful - Vintage Yummy Collection – Pleasantly Puzzled, Remember Me
Overlay - Creative Imaginations
Flourishes - Prima Say It in Pearls – Pink
Stickles – Tim Holtz Distress Stickles in Antique Linen

Journaling Tag - S.E.I. Stickers - "Lovebirds" Glitter Cardstock

Something I've been wanting to do for a long time - scrap our wedding photo!

I decided to go for a black and white look against a red background, and found just the perfect papers in GCD Studios' Cosette Collection with their romantic, lacey designs. I then added even more lace to the layout, and some pearls to complete the picture.

I also applied stickles to the patterned paper cut-outs and flowers for some added glitter and sparkle.

Springtime

This photo is of my younger DD taken during Chinese New Year this year.

I used GCD Studios' Scent of Christmas papers for this layout, and even though the papers are from their Christmas collection, I think they work equally well for a "Spring" layout such as this! I just love the green and red colours, which I thought match my daughter's outfit and the greenery behind her, nicely.

Materials used:
Patterned Papers - GCD Studios Scent of Christmas Collection - Red Carnations, Holiday Potpourri
Cardstocks - Bazzill Basics
Gem Flourishes - Prima Say It In Pearls - Black
Title Alphas - American Crafts Thickers - Glitter Chipboard Shoe Box in Black

Happy Ever After

This layout uses papers from Cosmo Cricket's Ever After collection, and the title of the layout is a play on the collection's name. :) The photo is of my two DD standing in front of Sleeping Beauty's castle at Disney Hongkong, hence also the title!

I cut out the flowers from the Something New paper and used them as embellishments.

I also cut out the floral shapes from the Something True paper and used it as a lace-like border on the right of the layout.

I then applied two different types of Stickles to the flowers on these papers, for some added glitter.

Materials used:
Patterned Papers – Cosmo Cricket Ever After Collection – Something Blue, Something New, Something True
Cardstock – Bazzill Basics
Blings – Prima Say It In Crystals in Black Diamond
Title Alphas – American Crafts Thickers – Chit Chat Puffy Letter Stickers in Grapefruit, Tinsel Foil Letter Stickers in Black, Patchwork Fabric Letter Stickers in Aqua
Lace and Ribbons – Prima, Unknown
Others – Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Black Soot, Ranger Stickles in Diamond, Ranger Ice Stickles in Crystal Ice
