MME, and Prima's Idea Gallery Again

I've just realised that two of my layouts - 'Beauty Within' and 'Daddy's Girls', are currently featured in the My Mind's Eye blog and website, in their 'Pretty Please' Photo Album.

And another of my layouts - 'Precious', is in the Prima Idea Gallery.

Pure Joy

I love the new Le' Romantique Collection from Graphic 45 - such beautiful papers!

For this layout, I cut out the roses and leaves from the Loves Labyrinth paper and the butterflies from the Le' Romantique paper, and applied stickles to them for some glitter and texture.

I then used these gorgeous sugar-coated roses from Prima, and also glimmer misted some Prima leaves for a little bit of shimmer.

The edges of the papers are then distressed and inked for greater definition, and the layout is completed with Prima's pearl and rose swirls.

Materials used:
Patterned Papers - Graphic 45 - Le' Romantique Collection - Tender Missives, Loves Labyrinth, Le' Romantique, My Beloved
Flowers - Prima - Belle Artes "Poetry", Tea Roses "Santa Ross", Symphony Blend "Amoroso Pink", Cameo Roses "Mandarin"
Leaves - Prima - Heirloom Paper Leaves "Willow"
Flourishes - Prima - Say It In Pearls "Swirls Pink"
Alphas - My Mind's Eye - Lush Collection - Chipboard Alphabet Stickers Pink
Others - Ranger Ice Stickles in Crystal Ice, Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Walnut Stain, EK Success 3D Foam Dots

Precious

A baby photo of my younger DD, which I recently found in a stash. Practically all the papers and embellishments in this layout are from Prima - mainly from their new collections!

I used papers from their Watercolor Rainbow and Raspberry Tea Collections, and distressed the edges and inked them very, very lightly.

I sprayed the alphas with Tattered Angels' glimmer mist in Iridescent Gold and then inked the edges lightly as well, for better definition.

I also sprayed glimmer mist on the leaves for some added shimmer, and stickled the edges of the white Innocence Collection flower for some sparkle and texture.

Materials used:
Patterned Papers - Prima - Watercolor Rainbow Collection - Laughter, Blushing Fuchsia, and Whimsy, and Raspberry Tea Collection - Lily Chopsticks
Flowers - Prima - Cancan "Spotlight", Ameruse "Duchess Mix", Ameruse "Pastel Mix", Calcutta Minis "Porcelaine", Tea Roses "Snow", Belle Artes "Poetry", Innocence Collection, Cameo Roses "Mandarin"
Leaves - Prima - Heirloom Paper Leaves "Willow"
Flourishes - Prima - Say It In Pearls - Swirls (Pink)
Butterfly - Prima - Andorra Pink Pearl
Laces - Prima Lace - Nikki
Alphas - Prima Cardstock Stickers - Chipboard Alphabets
Others - Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Walnut Stain, Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist in Iridescent Gold, Ranger Ice Stickles in Crystal Ice

Nine

The main photo here is of my younger DD celebrating her 9th birthday last month, with her sis and friends. And of course I just had to use my new Prima purchases!

I chose this particular paper from their Pastiche collection for its very floral theme, to match the garden theme of her birthday cupcakes.

I then embellished it further with more flowers and leaves from Prima, with just a touch of lace below the photos, and some bling flourishes.

And don't you just love their new chipboard alphas? Here, I inked the edges for a slightly distressed look.

Materials used:
Patterned Papers – Prima – Pastiche Collection – Quirky, Butterfly Wings
Flowers - Prima – Symphony Blend “Cappella Blue”, Camilla “Lemon Zest”, Primrosa “Spice”, Primrosa “Woodland”, Ameruse “Duchess Mix”
Leaves – Prima – Velvet Heirloom Rose Leaves “Rugosa”, Temple Leaves “Thalae Blue”, Temple Leaves “Dang Red”
Flourishes – Prima - Say It In Pearls
Lace - Prima
Alphas – Prima Chipboard Alphabets - Times Alphabet “Mint Garden”
Chipboard Shape – Prima – “Pastiche” Journaling Chipboards
Inks – Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Aged Mahogany, and Walnut Stain

Beautiful and Unique

I just love the colours in Basic Grey's Origins collection. In this layout, I used three different border punches on the papers. I think that the Pop-Up Butterflies one from Martha Stewart Crafts is especially cute.

I then embellished with some lace and a jeweled butterfly from Prima. The papers are so lovely on their own that they need little other embellishments, don't you think?

Materials used:
Patterned Papers - Basic Grey - Origins Collection - Renew, Brown Sugar Scrub, Sugar Pea, Hot Stone, Pure
Lace - Prima
Butterfly - Prima Jewel Box Butterflies "Torino"
Title - Me And My Big Ideas Stickers - Live Green "Beautiful", Making Memories Vintage Findings Epoxy Foil Alpha - Cream, and Basic Grey Epoxy Stickers - Origins
Punches - Martha Stewart Crafts - Doily Lace Edge Punch, Martha Stewart Crafts - Pop-Up Butterflies Edge Punch, and Fiskars - Sunburst Border Punch
Ink - Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Frayed Burlap
