Nine

The main photo here is of my younger DD celebrating her 9th birthday last month, with her sis and friends. And of course I just had to use my new Prima purchases!

I chose this particular paper from their Pastiche collection for its very floral theme, to match the garden theme of her birthday cupcakes.

I then embellished it further with more flowers and leaves from Prima, with just a touch of lace below the photos, and some bling flourishes.

And don't you just love their new chipboard alphas? Here, I inked the edges for a slightly distressed look.

Materials used:
Patterned Papers – Prima – Pastiche Collection – Quirky, Butterfly Wings
Flowers - Prima – Symphony Blend “Cappella Blue”, Camilla “Lemon Zest”, Primrosa “Spice”, Primrosa “Woodland”, Ameruse “Duchess Mix”
Leaves – Prima – Velvet Heirloom Rose Leaves “Rugosa”, Temple Leaves “Thalae Blue”, Temple Leaves “Dang Red”
Flourishes – Prima - Say It In Pearls
Lace - Prima
Alphas – Prima Chipboard Alphabets - Times Alphabet “Mint Garden”
Chipboard Shape – Prima – “Pastiche” Journaling Chipboards
Inks – Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Aged Mahogany, and Walnut Stain
Others – Prima Package Backing

Wow... I love how u've used the prima flowers. The color combination and placement are a great inspiration. I bought so many of them coz' they looked so pretty, but I couldn't seem to do a layout with those... thanks for the great ideas! Love your work!

Thanks so much! I kind of went crazy with the new Primas too, so have to use them after spending so much - lol! I love playing with them in my LOs though - I'm so glad you found inspiration in them. :)
