Canvas Door Sign

I recently made a door sign for my girls' room, with a piece of mounted canvas, wooden alphas from Kaisercraft, and some Prima goodness.

I misted the canvas with Tattered Angels' glimmer mist, applied stickles to the masked butterfly for some glitter and texture, and then proceeded to decorate the canvas with Prima flowers and vines.

I trimmed the edge of the canvas with a strand of pearls, and attached a little birdcage trinket and pearls to the bottom of the canvas.

The large alphas from Kaisercraft are also glimmer misted but just a word of caution - try not to get it too wet or the wood will start to warp a little. This can be easily fixed though by placing some heavy books on top of the wood while it's still slightly damp, and it will revert to its original shape when completely dried.

Some close-ups....

Thanks for dropping by! :)
