Simple & Sweet Memories

This photo of my girls was taken last December at Bald Hill in Sydney, Australia. Bald Hill is a popular jump-off point for hang-gliders and paragliders on windy days, and as you can see from the photo, it was a very windy day! Simple and sweet memories! I'm so excited to be using my new Prima Pixie Glen collection for this layout. These papers are so pretty and so wonderful to design with!

I tore out a frame from the Devon paper, and adhered it to the Rose Arbor paper with 3D foam tapes to create a shadowbox effect. I then did some layering and used 3D foam dots for the photo and embellishments, to create lots of dimension.

I added some muslin to give the layout a very soft overall look that complements the soft, pastel shades of the papers.

And for some added sparkle, I brushed some stickles onto the muslin and the leaves.

Of course, I just had to use the new Shabby Chic resins - they're absolutely divine! I love how they instantly add texture and dimension to any page.

Thanks so much for dropping by! :)
