Photo Moment

This is my DT layout for the very first sketch in 2015 from My Creative Sketches (below). It's a beautiful sketch and for my layout, I used papers from Simple Stories' Generations collection.

I distressed and layered the papers and photo, and also propped up the alphas for the layout's title.

I combined the Prima flowers with some hand-cut flowers, which I had embellished with distress stickles applied to the centres.

And I hand-stitched the Hambly overlay to the photo, and the background paper to the cardstock.

I also created a little pocket behind the photo for the tag, so I could include some hidden journaling in the layout.

Do head on over to the MCS blog for more inspiration, and also check out the fabulous prize that's up for grabs this month! Thank you for taking the time to drop by!
