Little Korean Princess

This was inspired by a gorgeous sketch by Anam Stubbington for Prima. I used lots of Prima products here - papers, flowers, brad and alphas. And I stickled the flowers for some glitter and sparkle.

The photos are of my younger DD in her Korean outfit, which she wore for her kindergarten's Racial Harmony Day in 2006.

Did this layout at a crop last month, when Singapore was hosting the Inaugural Formula One Night Race. There were promotions for the race all over the island, and my two DD got to take this photo with a race car.

This is my take of Unpubbed's current DT Member Layout Lift. It's inspired by a layout by the talented Kim White. I got the inspiration for the title from Madonna's song of the same name, because that was the first thing that came to my mind when I saw this photo of my two DD - lol!

My layout for Creative Scrappers this week. It's based on a lovely sketch by Deanne Burton. I used the wonderful new paper from DCWV, from their "Sweet" range. They really are oh so sweet!

The journaling is from a quote by Leo F. Buscaglia, which I like.

Sweet Angel

I did this layout using Scenic Route patterned papers. It's of my younger DD dressed as an angel for Christmas 2004. I applied stickles to the cut-out flowers for some glitter, and then layered them on using pop-up dots for dimension.

Here's a layout using the new Sassafras Lass range of papers. These papers are so pretty! I love them! And I thought they go so nicely with this photo of my younger DD with her big grin! I did lots of cut-outs for this one, and used 3D foam dots on some of the cut-outs, to add dimension. And of course, added stickles and blings. I'm quite pleased with how it turned out.

Okay, work, kids' exams and the flu bug got the better of me! But now I'm back. And with good news.

Firstly, two of my layouts - By The Sea, and Sugar & Spice - have been published in this month's Making Memories For You Ezine. Check this ezine out - it's full of great scrapbooking ideas!



Also, I won Crop Addict's "Anything But" Weekly Challenge last month, with my layout Winter Wonderland. We had to use anything but photo paper to print our photos onto, and I had used vellum for mine.



And finally, I also won last month's challenge by The Pretty Committee, a new site featuring all things girly, with my layout Mother.
