It's the last reveal for 2016 at My Creative Sketches, and I decided to do a Christmas layout of course for this month of December! The sketch is this lovely one below.
I used papers from Basic Grey's Jovial collection, and embellished my layout with flowers, wood embellishments, layered stickers, cheesecloth and corrugated cardboard, all to give the layout lots of texture.
I also used 3D foam dots to add depth to the layout, and handcut the flowers from the patterned papers to add to the little floral clusters.
Here are some close-ups.
I sprayed the butterflies and white leaves with some glimmer mist for a tinge of colour and shimmer, and also added stickles to the butterflies for some glitter.
Now, hop on over to the MCS blog for more inspiration, and also check out the awesome prize that's been put together for this month's winner! Looking forward to seeing all your lovely entries!
Thanks for dropping by, and have a Merry Christmas! :)
