Time for another reveal at My Creative Sketches, and here's another lovely sketch by Liz Chidester.
I used papers from Graphic 45's Botanical Tea collection (so pretty!), and a combination of flowers from Prima Marketing and 49 And Market, one of my current favourites as far as floral embellishments go.
I also handcut the flowers from the patterned papers, and added these to the floral clusters, using 3D foam dots to give them depth and dimension.
I then used Prima resins to further embellish the layout, and also tore and distressed the top and bottom borders of the layout to give it some definition.
Here are some close-ups.
For added texture, I also used a Prima mask and applied some modeling paste to the top and bottom of the layout behind the torn edges, and added some paper doilies in between the two pieces of paper, to add to the layers.
Now, hop on over to the MCS blog for more inspiration, and check out the amazing prize that's been put together for this month's winner! Thanks as always for taking the time to drop by! :)
