Mother's Day is just around the corner, and Laine's Papeterie is running a challenge for us to scrap on anything connected with motherhood. I decided to do this layout as a tribute to my mother who passed away on July 16 last year. It was a very old photo of her that I found while going through her personal effects, and I decided to use it as I thought she looked absolutely beautiful and serene in it. I used MME's Wild Asparagus "Mother" range of papers, as well as title and journaling cards from their Bohemia range, and Prima's Iron Orchid Designs "Cavalier Collection" paper, as well as blings and flowers also from Prima. I just love the texture of MME papers, and I think they lend themselves so well to 3-D effects.
