This was the very first layout I ever did! It was for a National Day challenge that Made With Love had last August, called "Starry Starry Red and White Scrap Challenge", which required us to do a layout in red and white (our national colours), and which should contain at least five stars, as in our country's flag. The only other colour allowed was black. I decided to do one using this photo of my younger daughter taken during her kindergarten's National Day celebrations the previous year. I took a long time over this as it was my first layout, so you can imagine how shocked but joyful I was when I found out I actually won the challenge! How cool is that? Really got me started on scrapbooking and inspired me to do more layouts!
