Another month and another reveal at My Creative Sketches, and here is this month's lovely sketch.
For my layout, I used papers from Prima's Tea-Thyme Collection. The photo is of my younger DD who recently celebrated her sweet 16th. She's been an avid reader since she was tiny, and I felt this photo captures the essence of my little bookworm so perfectly! Not so little anymore at 16, but still a bookworm nonetheless!
I inked and water-distressed the papers for definition and texture, and then added floral and metal embellishments to the layout. I also added bits of twine, cheesecloth, and a paper doily for additional textures.
